Tom Brady can’t get enough of showing off his hands full of Super Bowl rings. It is almost an annual summer rite. He won a Super Bowl in February. His team receives his rings over the summer before training camp and Brady shows them off.
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers got their Super Bowl rings on Thursday. They feature 319 diamonds, including 15 carats of white diamonds and 14 carats of yellow diamonds, reflect the final Super Bowl score of 31-9. The removable twist top is the first of all Super Bowl rings. At the bottom of the removable tray, laser-etched in gold, is the word “HISTORIC” to commemorate the accomplishment.
“We wanted him to represent the camaraderie and sacrifice our players and coaches went through along the way,” co-owner Darcie Glazer-Kassewitz said Thursday. “This ring tells the story of this journey, it reflects the heart and soul of a team like no other before. We know it will be an emotional touchstone for everyone involved for many years to come. “
Brady took to Twitter on Friday for a classic “How it started vs. how it goes.” Showing all six rings he won with the New England Patriots and his new trinket, it’s safe to say, as is usually the case with TB12, that things are going very well.
