I’ve lived my whole life in western New York. I have also lived in all major areas.
I grew up in Amherst and spent my youth in northern towns. I also lived in Hamburg for five years and was immersed in the lifestyle of southern cities; and now I reside in South Buffalo.
Buffalo is such an amazing food scene that includes so many different restaurants and breweries that are really what makes this area special, other than the people themselves.

What I love the most is how each suburb, whether north or south of the city (even east), has its own food scene that makes it “unique”.
People always say “let’s go” just because they know there’s a fantastic food and drink scene that few can beat. My friends and I do this all the time with East Aurora. It doesn’t hurt that the food and drink in Western New York is second to none and the main reason many of us stay here for the long haul.
