Indore: Seats of Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya (DAVV) vocational courses are already 60 percent filled. Now many students have started wondering if they can opt for two professional courses at once after University Scholarship Commission (TOS) has already approved it.
Logistics and Sourcing (Freight Management), Craft Digital Marketing, Fashion Technology, Landscaping, Nutrition and Dietetics, etc. are some of the skill-based vocational courses known to DAVV for more than half a decade already.
“About 60 percent of the places in various professional courses have already been filled. DAVV will now offer the first served option for the remaining vacant seats,” Deen Director Dayal Upadhyay of DAVV said. Kaushal Kendra (DDU-KK), Dr. Maya Ingle Tell yourself.
The university has received requests from students to take two professional courses at once, which will benefit both the institute and the students, she added. Apart from undergraduate and postgraduate courses, there are more than 20 degree courses that provide an early exit option with a certificate option as well. However, candidates have the option of taking the certificate only after the completion of a six-month term. These professional courses are from DDU-KK and the DAVV Lifelong Learning School.
On the other hand, the administrative heads of the university decided to propose it to the executive council (EC) of the DAVV before approving it. TNN
